

Malaysia Passport
Introduction
Malaysia Passport is a valid travel document issued by the Malaysian Government for the purpose of travelling abroad.
This passport is the property of the Government of Malaysia and may be withdrawn at any time if the Immigration Department is satisfied the passport is used contravene against the Passport Act 1966. The holder is fully responsible for the security of the Passport.
Eligibility
Only Malaysian citizen.
Where to Apply
Any Immigration Offices and Malaysian Representative Offices.
Validity
Valid for five (5) years from the date of issued. Biometric passport cannot be modified due to the "write once" policy by ICAO.
Renewal of passport for the new passport that has a validity of 6 months or less, the new one will have 5 years validity.

£ 50.00 for 32 pages
Half price
£ 25.00 for 32 pages

Exemption of payment
Exemption of payment is given to the handicap or disable person on the condition that they produce a letter from the Welfare Department.

* The usage of ‘anak lelaki (AL)' and ‘anak perempuan (AP)' for Indian and

* Please bear in mind that the unclaimed Passport more than three months from the date of collection is subject to cancellation and the fee paid for is not refundable. Should the applicant intend to obtain the passport, he or she needs to submit a fresh application and it will be according to the normal procedure.
* Children including toddlers will be issued separate passport. Change of
photograph for the children two years and above can be made by completing the Im.42-
* Consent of the mother for children under 18 years old is allowed under
Guardianship Act 1961 -
Notes
If you lost your passport while you are abroad, please report to the nearest Malaysian Embassy/High Commissioner/Consulate Office for passport replacement.
Your application will be referred to Immigration Department Headquarters for further action. The process may take 3 – 4 months to be completed.
