
VISA
(HOW TO APPLY)
A visa is an endorsement in a passport or other
recognized travel document of foreigner indicating that the holder has applied
for permission to enter Malaysia and that permission has been granted. Foreign
nationals who require a Visa to enter Malaysia must apply and obtain a Visa in
advance at any Malaysian Representative Office abroad before entering the
country. Visa which has been granted is not absolute guarantee that the holder
will be allowed to enter Malaysia.
1. All applicants must come to our office between 9.00 am
and 12.00 Noon. This is a queuing system and please be patient until your number
is called.
2. A successful application will be processed in the same day
and their Visa will be ready between 3.00 pm - 4.30. If you wish to collect in
the morning the next day please inform the duty officer about your
intention.
3. Application by post is acceptable and please bear in mind
that we are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any delay, lost of passport, money or any
other documents sent with it. Application by post take about 2-3 weeks and all
application must be accompanied with a pre-paid recorded delivery for the return
of their passport and travel documents.
4. Application that doesn’t have
all the supporting documents as listed in Visa
requirement section will be subject to refusal.
5. Any person
classified under Section 8 of Immigration Act 1959/63
will not be allowed to enter Malaysia even though he/she is in possession of a
valid Passport or Travel Document, Visa, travel ticket and sufficient
funds.
