Foreigners who wish to enter for the purpose of employment for a contract minimum period of two (2) years which carries a salary not less than RM 1200 with the Malaysian Government, statutory body, government agency or private company

•Covering letter
•Form Imm.8 (2 copies)
•Form Imm.38 (2 copies) - if applicable
•Form DP 8 (2 copies)
•Approval letter relevant agencies
•Employment contract duly stamped
•Photograph of applicant measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm (3 copies)
•Photostat Passport / Travel Document

• Before an Employment Pass can be issued, an expatriate post must be approved either by the Expatriate Committee or relevant agencies.

• The Employment Pass application has to be submitted by the local employer to The Immigration Head Office, Kuala Lumpur or State Immigration Office

The wife and children of any person who has been issued with an Employment Pass

•Covering letter
•Form Imm. 10 (2 copies)
•Form Imm. 38 (2 copies) - if applicable
•Photograph of applicant measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm (3 copies)
•Proof of marriage

• This pass may be applied together with the application for the Employment Pass or after the Employment Pass is approved.
