•Applications must be submitted by the educational institutions to The Director, Pass and Permit Division, Immigration Headquarters, Pusat Bandar Damansara, 50550 Kuala Lumpur. Students are not allowed to apply directly to the Immigration Department under this procedure. •Students are not required to apply a visa from Malaysian Embassy/Consulate Office before proceeding to Malaysia. However a visa / student pass will be issued to student by the State Immigration Department within two weeks after their arrival. The educational Institutions which enrolled students are responsible to make necessary arrangement pertaining to Immigration matters. •Educational Institutions are required to receive their students upon arrival in Malaysia therefore student must furnish Educational Institutions about their flight details. •Upon arrival, students would be issued a Special Pass valid for fourteen (14) says. Within this period, educational institutions would take students passport to State Immigration Department for issuance of Student Pass / Visa. Nationals from The People’s Republic of China and Commonwealth Independent States who wish to study in Public Educational Institutions are required to obtain prior consent from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Malaysia and required to obtain Entry Visa prior to entry Other nationals who have obtained approval to study through the respective Educational Institution are allowed direct entry into Malaysia. Students have to show their approval letters upon arrival. Special Pass will be issued to refer them to the respective Sate Immigration Department for issuance of Student Pass.
